Job Description:
Under general supervision of the Court Administrator and in compliance with the law and court policies and procedures, the Clerk/Bailiff oversees and coordinates the secure and efficient courtroom traffic flow according to the courtroom docket and schedule, enforces courtroom policies and protocol, provides service of summons, and ensures the safety and security of the court facility, personnel, and the public. The Clerk/Bailiff also serves the roll as court recorder in making sure that the daily schedule is recorded by audio and video and to record any additional Court procedures. When not serving as the Bailiff, the Clerk/Bailiff also oversees the civil docket, provides clerical and secretary support for judges and other court staff.
